The Bears showed up, and they picked a pretty good night to show out.

Cambridge had no problems whatsoever in its 55-point obliteration of region opponent Chattahoochee in its annual Homecoming game.

The game had effectively been decided before the halftime whistle, as Cambridge had poured in 41 of its points by then.

The victory is not only the largest shutout win the Bears have ever recorded, but it is also the second-largest victory in Cambridge history after a 2014 64-7 defeat of North Springs.

“It was just an amazing feeling, man. We knew we were gonna play hard, but to blow them out like we did was incredible,” said senior and defensive end Walker Hicks after the game.

Cambridge’s next opponent is Greater Atlanta Christian, who they face on the road this Thursday. Both teams are 3-2.
