Tickets for the homecoming dance on Sept. 24 are now sold out completely.   

As of around noon, tickets were “completely gone” according to Assistant Principal Darius Maize.  

He said tickets are limited to a certain amount as a safety precaution.  

“The dance is happening in [the cafeteria],” said Maize. “So, we can only have x amount of people in here due to fire codes.”  

However, some students expressed anger about the restricted capacity rule because they didn’t get tickets before they ran out.  

“Why didn’t they buy one when they got released then?” said Maize. “The school can’t disrespect the safety regulations put in place by the county.”
