Weekly Sports Round-up (Week 4/12)

Baseball

The team came out of Spring Break with a loss to Walton 8-6 with the Decatur game being cancelled the Bears record is 16-7 heading into this week where they played Dunwoody and lost 13-9 on Monday. The team will be playing Creekview on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Boys Golf

The team has played well this season and this week will be playing in the Cambridge Cup and the Area Tournament which is the beginning of the Playoffs.

Boys Lacrosse

The lacrosse team did not play over the break and have two games left in the season and have a record of 7-5 and will play Riverwood on Thursday.

Boys Soccer

The Boys soccer team finished the season just before break getting a win against Sequoyah 7-6 on senior night and the team finished their regular season with a record of 6-5-1.

Boys Tennis

The team finished their season with a record of 11-5 and before the break beat Creekview 3 sets to 0 sets. Heading to the Region tournament the team lost to Johns Creek 3-0 but beat Chattahoochee 3-1.

Girls Golf

The girls golf team will be in the Area Tournament on Wednesday like the Boys team. Before the Playoffs begin the girls, team will have a few more matches than the boys where they will jump into the playoffs.

Girls Lacrosse

The team did not play over the break and will have senior night on Tuesday against Kell and the girls team has a record of 6-7 on the season. The team will then head to the playoffs on Friday and play North Atlanta.

Girls Soccer

The team did not play over the break and with a record of 10-2-3 the girls will move on to the playoffs to face St. Pius X on Thursday.

Girls Tennis

The girls team played in two region tournament matches winning both 3-0 against Sequoyah and Centennial. The girls team will be playing against Johns Creek on Thursday.

Boys and Girls Track and Field

The team has the Senior Night Meet on Wednesday and after the meet the team squeezed in a meet at Etowah on Friday and then the team will begin to prepare for the 6A Region Championships.
