Weekly Sports Round-up (Week of 3/29)

Baseball

The team lost all three games to River Ridge last week by scores of 4-3, 5-3, 3-2. Heading into this week the team has a record of 13-5 and the team will face Johns Creek three times this week.

Boys Golf

The team played at the Buford Best Ball and won the match with their second first place finish on the season. Their next matches will be in April and they will be playing in the Cambridge Cup and the Area Tournament.

Boys Lacrosse

The team played at Allatoona losing 8-2 last week. They also won against River Ridge with a score of 15-4. Later in last week they lost 17-5 to Johns Creek. This week the team will come in with a record of 6-6 and will face North Atlanta on Thursday.

Boys Soccer

The team postponed the game against River Ridge with no date scheduled to play that match. This week, the Bears will face Sequoyah for senior night and also their last regular season game.

Boys Tennis

The team played Riverwood for senior night and won 5-0, and similarly, the team also beat Chattahoochee 5-0. Now, the team is waiting for who they will face in the playoffs.

Girls Golf

The girl’s team will be playing in the Stableford Classic this week, with schools like Buford and Mountain View.

Girls Lacrosse

The team played Johns Creek and lost 13-12. The team was supposed to play Kell, but the game was canceled. This week, the girls will face Alpharetta and West Forsyth.

Girls Soccer

The team won both of their matches last week 6-2 against River Ridge and 3-0 against Riverwood. They will face Sequoyah on Tuesday for senior night and it is also the last game of the regular season.

Girls Tennis

The team is 11-3 after beating West Forsyth 4-1. The team was supposed to play Chattahoochee, but the match was canceled. The team will now be going to the Region Tournament facing Sequoyah.

Boys and Girls Track and Field

The team had the Fulton County Championships on Wednesday and Saturday. The girls finished third while the guys finished twelfth.
