Weekly Sports Round-Up (3/15)

Baseball

The team is 11-3 heading into this week after beating Sequoyah one-time last week by a score of 7-4 on March 8. This week, the team will play Chattahoochee three times. The team has no games this weekend.

Boys Golf

The team has had one match, finishing in third place.  A game was arranged for Monday, but no information has been updated on the school website. Their next match is March 20 at Achastsa Golf Club, Dahlonega.

Boys Lacrosse

The lacrosse team is 5-3 and played Mill Creek Monday and lost 11-5 which made their record 5-4 and will face Dunwoody on Friday. The team has no games this weekend.

Boys Soccer

The soccer team will face Creekview at home this Friday. The team has no games this weekend.

Boys Tennis

The team is 8-3 on the season and has a match that has been rescheduled from earlier in the season against West Forsyth on Wednesday and another match at Centennial. The team has no matches this weekend.

Track and Field (Co-Ed)

The team is competing on March 11 at the “Thursday Throwdown” Meet the boys finished first and the girls finished second. The upcoming meets are on Wednesday with the  North Georgia Junior Varsity Invitational at Milton HS and this weekend the team will be in the Roswell Relays.

Girls Golf

The girls golf team has two matches this week on Tuesday and Thursday, one being a home match and one being away. The team does not have any matches on the weekend.

Girls Lacrosse

The girl’s team is 5-3 on the season after losing to Roswell on March 12 by a score of 12-10 and will face Milton at home today. Friday and Saturday the Girls will be playing in the Legacy Cup, but times of the games are still up in the air.

Girls Soccer

The team is 5-2-3 on the season after losing to Johns Creek by a score of 3-2 last week. This week, the team has two home games against Marist and Creekview. The team beat Marist Tuesday 7-3, which made their record 6-2-3. The team does not have any games this weekend.
