Cambridge girls cross country are repeat State AAAAAA Champions, with varsity boys coming in third.

On Nov 2, both the boys’ and the girls’ varsity cross country teams headed to Carrollton, Georgia to race against the best teams in the state.

The girls were fortunate enough to bring back the gold for the 2nd year in a row.

Varsity girls runner and senior Clarissa Beck said: “The ladies ran really well as a team, and I think all of our hard work from the season really showed.”

Senior Jack Filan came in second place in the varsity boys’ race and junior Ashley Sechrest came in third for the girls, a great finish to the bears’ XC season.
