An example of the IDs students are set to received on Oct. 25 and 26 during their English classes.

Students are required to wear IDs beginning next week.

The school will distribute lanyards with IDs to students on Oct. 25 and 26 in their English classes, Administrative Assistant Peter Vajda said Wednesday.

Vajda said the main purpose of the lanyards with the IDs is to identify people who should not be in the building.

According to Vajda, students will be required to wear their lanyards, but there will be a grace period before students will be punished for not wearing them.

If students continually fail to wear their lanyard, possible consequences can include detention.

Students who lose their IDs will need to pay $5 to replace them, and students who lose the ID, case and lanyard will have to pay $10 for a replacement, said Vajda.
