On Monday, Fulton County Schools announced on their website that in-person instruction will not commence until Jan. 13, 2021 “due to an increase of COVID-19 cases in the community.”
Face-to-face students were originally permitted to return this Wednesday through Friday to take their final exams; however, with this new protocol, those assessments must be completed at home.
The teacher workdays on Jan. 4 and Jan 5. are still intact. Remote learning for all students will last from Jan. 6 to Jan. 8, and all middle and high schoolers will continue with virtual instruction on Jan. 11 and Jan. 12.
Students who chose to attend school in-person at the start of second semester will be welcomed back to the building on Jan. 13.
