Bears Get Into Halloween Spirit
Aley El-Olemy and Isabella Riccardelli
Happy Halloween, Bears! Here are some costumes worn to school Thursday by our student body.
Senior Jacob Kim
“I’m a witch… I think,” said Kim.
Junior Tony Le
“I realized that one of my favorite Halloween movies was Goosebumps and, well, the greatest Halloween villain in the movie was Slappy the ventriloquist dummy," said Le. "Most horror movies really scare me, but Goosebumps is more of a kid-friendly horror movie so I’m more into that."
Sophomore Max Kantarovich
"I love the show Lucifer, it’s a great show, well I had the suit and I just thought well why not make some wings and make it a costume...it’s a good show all the characters are very well developed they have their own story arcs. It’s a great show, me and my best friend love it," said Kantarovich.
Seniors Isabella Amorine, Dakota Pasley, Emmie Jackson, Casey Wesolowski and Caroline Fettes
"Heathers...it’s great. I mean, the music’s really good," said Fettes....
Junior Alejandra Flores
"I just really like the old joker movies from batman so I just wanted to do a design...just the colors and all that just uses really, you know astonishing colors and really bright colors," said Flores.
Social Studies Teacher Mark Schuler
“So the Department got together and did an Up theme, so Kevin is Ms. Hall, Coulter is the boy, I’m Carl… One of the students dressed up as the house.”
